Tanglefoot Festival ain’t just a music fest—it’s a full-blown, slow-smoked celebration of what makes Temple, Texas the tastiest spot in the state each fall. This September 12–13, we’re firin’ up the pits with 16 of the best BBQ joints from across Texas and beyond, servin’ up a mouthwatering mix of brisket, ribs, pork, sausage, and all the fixin’s.
From local legends to out-of-town champions, our lineup features multiple honorees from the 2025 Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joints list, plus national favorites from Georgia to North Carolina. And for the first time ever, they’re all comin’ together in one place—right here in Temple—for two days only.

Pitmasters Privilege: BBQ Demo & Q&A
$100+ (Festival ticket required)
Get early access before the gates open to meet pitmasters, watch exclusive demos, ask questions, and taste what’s cookin’. Includes unlimited tastings during BBQ hours, a Tanglefoot BBQ tee, and photo ops.

$25+ (Festival ticket required)
Enjoy unlimited BBQ samples from 15+ elite pitmasters during daily tasting hours. Included in VIP passes, or available as an add-on ticket per day.

- Saturday: 1:00–5:00 PM
Barbecue With a Heart
This year, Tanglefoot and our pitmasters are comin’ together to raise funds for Central Texas flood relief. A portion of ticket sales from Friday’s “Pitmasters Privilege” experience will go toward supporting affected families in the area. Eat good, do good.
